Potenza
Loft with a painted word wall, black bathtub and sunlight from sea windows

Lofts

Corner units with long runs of glass and a tub on a platform by the window.

The lofts are Potenza's corner units: long runs of windows wrapping around two sides, so the sea fills the room from the bed to the bath. Several were renovated top to bottom and set up as one open level with the bathroom, the tub and the bed all in the same light.

An open plan

The listings describe them as one-level lofts with a bathroom and a hot tub, totally renovated, with a stand-alone tub that has ocean views. In practice that means a tub on a raised platform by the glass, a king or queen bed a few steps away and a living area that runs along the windows.

One loft lists a queen bed, a tub, a 65-inch TV, a living room and a complete kitchen set, recently renovated for holidays and business trips alike, and close to restaurants, bars and the sights of the city.

The windows

What sets the lofts apart is the glass. Dark-framed windows run the length of the room in some units, curved walls of white-framed glass in others, and from the higher floors you look down on the Malecón avenue, the palms of the promenade and the reef line where the waves break.

Different looks

No two lofts are dressed the same. One has a hand-painted word wall behind a black bathtub; one pairs green marble with a white tub and gold fixtures; others are white and minimal with plants in the corners and linen curtains. The photos on this page show several of them, and the team confirms your loft when you book.

Kitchen, work and rest

The lofts carry the same essentials as most Potenza apartments: wifi, air conditioning, a workspace, a kitchen or kitchenette with cooking basics, a TV, an iron and a hair dryer, with free parking on the premises and self check-in. Each loft sleeps two.

Who the lofts suit

Guests who want more room and more window than a studio, couples on a longer stay, and travelers who work during the day and want a view when the laptop closes.

Staying longer

Many Potenza listings allow long stays, and the lofts are the apartments that make most sense for them: room to spread out, a kitchen for home-cooked meals, and a work table with the sea behind the screen. Ask the team about weekly and monthly stays when you check your dates.
